Mario Sabino
Mario Sabino Filho is a journalist and writer. He was chief editor of Veja magazine between 2004 and 2012. Currently is a partner in the O Antagonista (The Antagonist) portal.
During his run as Veja’s office chief, the magazine’s editorial line was marked by a more conservative political position and by constamt attacks to Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s and Dilma Roussef’s governments, to the labor’s party and to the leftist politics in general.
He was a cultural journalist for Folha de S. Paulo and IstoÉ. After leaving his leading position in Veja’s office, he worked for 17 days to the known press office CDN. After his departure, became a Veja correspondent in Paris. In the early 1990s, worked as an editor for the Teoria & Debate (Theory & Debate) magazine, by Perseu Abramo Foundation, connected to the Labor’s Party (as an outsourced professional, with no links to the party itself).

- Roberto Civita (Civita Family), was the owner of Editora Abril and a friend of Sabino. He passed away in 2013.
- Eurípides Alcântara, former director of Veja magazine (2004-2016) worked with Sabino at Veja. He is director of the communication agency Inner (of Grupo Head).
